Hi, I’m Lynn Molloy, and I’m so glad you’re here.
I’m a Lamorinda girl through and through. I was born and raised here, grew up in Lafayette and now live in Orinda with my husband, Tom, our kids and our dog, Louis. These streets, schools, trails and downtown corners aren’t just my market. They’re where my life happens.
Ask me about a neighborhood and I won’t just recite what’s on the listing. I’ll tell you which street is quietest on a weekday morning, where locals grab coffee before school drop-off, and which trail is best when you only have an hour. That kind of knowledge comes from living here, not from a spreadsheet, and I love sharing it.
Why Lamorinda
People often ask what makes Lafayette, Moraga and Orinda feel so different from other places. For me, it’s the mix. You get golden hills and walkable downtowns, strong schools and neighbors who wave, a real sense of community and still an easy reach to the rest of the Bay Area.
Each town has its own personality, too. Lafayette has that lively downtown energy. Moraga feels tucked away and friendly, with its big open commons and college-town charm. Orinda is relaxed, leafy and tight-knit. When I help you find a home, I’m helping you find the right fit for how you want to live, not just the right square footage.
Where I started
Before real estate, I spent years in customer service management for major national retailers. It sounds like a different world, but it taught me the things I lean on every day: listen first, stay calm when things get busy, solve the problem before anyone has to ask, and always make people feel looked after.
Those years also taught me that the best service is about the details. It’s remembering what someone told you last week, following up before they have to chase you, and treating every question as a good one. Buying or selling a home is a big moment, and that training turned out to be the best preparation I could have asked for.
How I work
I’m a partner at The Beaubelle Group with Compass, and most of my business comes from referrals, which is the compliment I value most. When clients describe me, the words I hear are patient, professional and always a step ahead. That’s what I aim for.
I want you to feel informed at every stage, with no surprises and no pressure. That means walking you through each step before it happens, giving you honest advice even when it isn’t the easy answer, and being someone in your corner who actually picks up the phone. Whether you’re buying your first home, selling the one you’ve loved for twenty years or somewhere in between, you’ll get the same care and attention.
I’m also a member of the Contra Costa Association of REALTORS®, and I love being a local who can tell you what a neighborhood really feels like, not just what the listing says. Schools, commutes, community events, the places that make a street feel like home: I’ll share all of it, so you can choose with confidence.
What working together looks like
Every client is different, but here’s the general rhythm:
We start with a conversation. I’ll ask about your plans, your timeline and what matters most to you. There’s no script and no pressure.
We build a plan. If you’re buying, we’ll talk about neighborhoods, budget and what to expect. If you’re selling, we’ll talk about preparation, pricing and presentation.
I handle the details. Showings, paperwork, negotiations and deadlines are all managed carefully, so you aren’t left guessing.
I keep you in the loop. You’ll hear from me regularly, and when you reach out, I’ll respond.
We celebrate. Closing day is a big moment, and I like to make sure it feels like one.
Outside of work
You’ll usually find me out with Louis, wandering the farmers market, or bringing home far too many flowers (my Friday Flowers posts are no accident). A fresh bouquet on the kitchen counter can change the whole feel of a week, and I’m not shy about it.
Tom and I also love a good trip when we can sneak one in. Recently that meant a getaway to France, and I came home with a camera roll full of photos and a fresh reminder to slow down and enjoy the little moments. Between family, weekends around town and the occasional adventure, life stays full, and I wouldn’t change it.
I also love the community side of living here: the seasonal events, the local shops and restaurants, and the traditions that make each month feel a little different. When something fun is happening in Lamorinda, I’ll usually be talking about it online.
Most of what I share comes from this life, because I think the best way to know a place is to enjoy it. You’ll see local favorites, market updates in plain English, new listings and the occasional peek at what we’re up to.
Questions people often ask me
Do you only work in Lamorinda?
Lafayette, Moraga and Orinda are my home base, and I’m happy to help with nearby communities, too.
Do I need to be ready to buy or sell to reach out?
Not at all. Plenty of my favorite conversations start with “I’m just curious.”
How quickly will you respond?
Quickly. I know timing matters in real estate, and I make it a priority to stay in touch.
What if I’m not sure what my home is worth?
Ask me. I’m always glad to talk through what’s happening in your neighborhood and what it could mean for you.
Let’s talk
Whether you’re moving to Lamorinda, moving within it or just wondering what your home is worth, I’d love to hear from you. You don’t need to be ready to buy or sell. Sometimes the best first step is simply a conversation, and I’m always happy to chat about your plans, your timeline or just what’s happening in the market.
Send me a message, say hi on Instagram or call anytime. No agenda required.
